WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TRIS-BIPHENYL TRIAZINE (TINOSORB A2B)?

Tris-biphenyl triazine provides broad protection from ultraviolet energy through absorption and scattering of that energy. Tris-biphenyl triazine is photostable and effective based on testing of its sun protective factor.

WHAT IS TRIS-BIPHENYL TRIAZINE (TINOSORB A2B)?

Tris-biphenyl triazine is an organic ultraviolet filter that absorbs ultraviolet energy in the UVA1, UVA2 and UVB range. It is approved in the European Union and is water-insoluble.

IS TRIS-BIPHENYL TRIAZINE (TINOSORB A2B) SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES AND TONES?

Tris-biphenyl triazine is likely safe for all skin types and tones. In vivo sensitization shows no irritation, phototoxic or photoallergic response, nor does it show in vitro percutaneous absorption.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Available evidence does not suggest an absolute contraindication to using tris-biphenyl triazine. However, individuals with allergic contact dermatitis to sunscreens containing it should avoid use or have further testing for an allergy.
