WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF 2-MPG?

Thanks to its antioxidative properties, 2-MPG neutralizes free radicals and reduces oxidative stress, helping to prevent signs of aging. It also inhibits tyrosinase, reducing melanin production in hyperpigmented areas. This not only lightens dark spots but also improves overall skin tone. By addressing discoloration, 2-MPG enhances radiance and promotes a more even complexion, making it an effective ingredient for both anti-aging and brightening skincare.

WHAT IS 2-MPG?

2-MPG is a synthetic compound derived from cysteine used as a depigmenting agent by interfering with melanogenesis.

IS 2-MPG SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES AND TONES?

2-MPG is suitable for all skin tones with a low risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and minimal skin irritation. It ensures natural results without bleaching, making it appropriate for a wide range of skin types.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

2-MPG is generally well-tolerated but should be avoided by individuals allergic to sulfur-based compounds. Due to the limited studies on its use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, it should be used with caution in these populations.
