WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF LACTIC ACID ?

Lactic acid is a gentle chemical exfoliant that works by promoting skin cell turnover. Lactic acid also has been shown to have moisturizing properties by attracting and retaining hydration in the skin while also improving the skin’s barrier function. Clinical studies have shown that treatment with topical lactic acid results in increased epidermal and dermal thickness, and improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
