WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DRAGON'S BLOOD EXTRACT?

The botanical dragon’s blood extract has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects for which it is used in many conditions, including psoriasis, burns and wounds. It is thought to have a photoprotective and antineoplastic effect, such as its finding in vitro to reduce liver tumor growth. Additionally it has been shown to decrease the duration of wound healing. The extract has notable antimicrobial activity against multiple bacterial and fungal species, including Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.

WHAT IS DRAGON'S BLOOD EXTRACT?

Dragon’s blood extract is a resin derived from the plant species Croton, Dracaena, Daemonorops and Pterocarpus. The extract contains phenols and flavonoids that are implicated in improved blood circulation, hemostasis, blood sugar and lipid regulation, immune function and skin repair.  

IS DRAGON'S BLOOD EXTRACT SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES AND TONES?

Dragon’s blood extract is likely safe for all skin types and tones. 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Individuals with an adverse reaction to it or its byproducts should exercise caution if attempting to use it.
