Argan oil contains fatty acids like linoleic and oleic acid, which are hydrating. Argan oil also contains vitamin E and antioxidants that can prevent breakage and damage from free radicals. It can be used to help dry skin or eczema. Argan oil can also enhance the skin, prevent hair breakage, minimize frizz and help improve hair health overall.
Argan oil comes from nuts of argan tree, which Is native to Morocco. It’s enriched with vitamins, fatty acids and minerals.
Those with seborrheic dermatitis, or dandruff, should avoid putting argan oil on the scalp directly and use only on the ends of hair. For those with sensitive or eczema prone skin, it is important to ensure there are no added fragrance or preservatives in the oil that can worsen existing conditions.
