Dr. Maryam Sickinger is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Advanced Institute of Dermatology in Palm Desert and San Clemente, Calif.
She earned a bachelor of science degree in microbiology from the University of Florida. She then received a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Barry University.
Dr. Sickinger then went on to complete medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then moved to the west coast for her internship in internal medicine at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles County Hospital. She served her dermatology residency at Western University/Pacific Hospital in California.
She has participated in medical mission trips to Guatemala and Kenya.
