The Society for Pediatric Dermatology Mentorship & Medical Student Mentorship Awards

Objectives:

  • Promote career development within the field of pediatric dermatology
  • Cultivate mentorships between established pediatric dermatologists and residents/fellows/junior faculty who have chosen to pursue a career in pediatric dermatology.

In addition to traditional Mentorship Awards, the SPD also offers the Medical Student Mentorship Award to facilitate earlier career exposure to pediatric dermatology. Please use the Mentorship Award application to submit your project for consideration and check “Medical Student” in the appropriate box on the application form.

If you have any questions, please contact SPD at (317) 202-0224 or in**@******rm.net or Markus Boos, MD, PhD, Mentorship Committee Chair, at ma*********@**************ns.org.

Upon Completion of Mentorship Experience

Awardees must submit a one-page report no later than one month after completing their mentorship experience to SPD Communications Manager, Emily Schoenbaechler, at em***@*************te.com.
